These are the terms for using Turbo Encabultor (turboencabultor.com), which is run by WeldonPC, 5829 Turney Road, Garfield Heights, OH 44125. By using the site you agree to them. They are written to be read.

1. This is a parody and novelty site

Everything the site generates is fiction: invented machines, invented parts, invented units. Nothing on it is a real product, specification, certification or qualification, and nothing on it is engineering, safety, legal, medical or financial advice. The site is not affiliated with or endorsed by any company, magazine, institution or person connected with the original 1944 "turbo-encabulator" article or its film versions. See the Disclaimer.

2. The free generator

You may use the generator, the technobabble generator and the free results for any lawful purpose, including in your own writing, slides, games and team chats. Do not use the site's output to make anyone believe a real product, document or qualification exists.

3. Cogs

• Cogs are site credits that can be spent only on this site's own digital items.
• Cogs have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money (except as a refund under section 5), and they cannot be transferred between wallets.
• Cogs do not expire.
• A wallet can hold at most 2,000 Cogs.
• A wallet belongs to one email address and is opened by a sign-in link sent to that address. Keep access to your email.
• If the site ever closes, we will give 30 days' notice on the site and by email to wallet holders, and refund unspent Cogs from packs bought in the previous 12 months.
• Welcome Cogs and Cogs granted by us are free, have no purchase price and are not refundable. Welcome Cogs are given once per wallet, on the first email sign-in, and are limited: one welcome grant per internet connection per day and a fixed number per day across the site. We may change or end them at any time.

4. Buying

• When Cog packs are on sale, they are sold through PayPal in US dollars. The price is shown before you pay. Until then nothing can be bought, and prices shown as planned may change. There are no subscriptions and nothing renews automatically.
• You must be 18 or older to buy.
• We currently sell only to buyers in the United States. You tell us your State at checkout.
• The Cog price of each item is printed on its button. Items are digital files, delivered immediately as downloads and kept in your wallet.
• Tips are optional and buy nothing: no Cogs, no goods, no services.

5. Refunds

• Unspent packs: a full refund within 14 days of purchase if none of that pack's Cogs have been spent. You can do this yourself from your wallet, at most once every 90 days; otherwise email help@turboencabultor.com.
• Spent Cogs: digital files are delivered immediately, so spent Cogs are not refundable. If a file is broken or wrong, we fix it or give the Cogs back.
• The Chief Engineer's Edition (when it is offered): Cogs are taken only after the text is delivered. A failed or refused attempt costs nothing.

6. Your licence to the files

When you unlock a file you receive a perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use, print and give it away, including on office walls and in presentations. You may not present the files as the documentation of a real product in order to deceive anyone, and you may not resell the files as a product of your own.

7. Text written with AI

One optional paid item, the Chief Engineer's Edition, is written by an AI model from your machine's own parts list. It is not always on offer; when it is, it is labelled "Written with AI" on the page and in the PDF. Everything else on the site is produced by our own procedural generator. Text written purely by AI may not be protected by copyright; we claim nothing more over it than the licence above gives you.

8. What you type

• Subjects, names, part names and card messages must be suitable for all ages. We refuse slurs, sexual content, threats and hate, and we refuse the names of real companies and agencies in the "maker" fields of our novelty documents.
• Put a real person's name on a certificate or card only if it is your own name or that person has agreed.
• Saved machines can be seen by anyone with the link. They are not listed or indexed unless a person approves them. Anyone can report a saved machine, and we may hide or remove any machine at any time.

9. Copyright complaints

If you believe something on the site infringes your copyright or other rights, write to legal@turboencabultor.com or to WeldonPC at the address above, with the page address and a description of the work. We act on valid notices promptly.

10. No warranty

The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, WeldonPC is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of a joke. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, United States.

12. Changes

If we change these terms, the date at the top changes and the new version applies from then on. Cogs you already hold keep the protections in section 3.
